The Amazing Moon

High up in the sky, the Moon orbits Earth like a loyal friend. The Moon is a huge, rocky sphere, with no air, water, or life on it. It doesn’t shine on its own but reflects light from the Sun, making it glow at night. As it moves around Earth, the Moon goes through phases. Sometimes it looks like a full circle, called a full moon. Other times, it looks like a slice, called a crescent. The Moon’s gravity is so strong, it pulls on Earth’s oceans, creating tides. Long ago, astronauts traveled to the Moon and walked on its surface, discovering dust, rocks, and craters. The Moon helps light up our nights and keeps our planet balanced, making it very special!
